Police in the Ashanti region have arrested one individual in connection with the alleged rape and murder of an 18-year-old woman in Anwiankwanta, Bekwai, in the Ashanti region.

The incident came to light when community members raised concerns about the disappearance of the 18-year-old apprentice.
