Prof. Peter Twumasi, an aspiring parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Ahafo Ano South West constituency, has declared his unwavering determination to unseat the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, with the goal of improving the socio-economic conditions of the constituents.

Speaking passionately about his commitment to the constituency, Prof. Twumasi expressed his dedication to bringing positive change to the lives of the people.

He noted that since 2020, when he first aspired to represent the constituency, he has not wavered in his determination due to the constituents’ perceived lack of significant socio-economic improvement.

The Ahafo Ano South West constituency has been represented by the incumbent NPP MP, Hon. Johnson Kwaku Adu, for an extended period.

However, Prof. Peter Twumasi is resolute in his ambition to unseat the current MP and initiate changes that will positively impact the lives of the constituency’s residents.

During a meeting with football enthusiasts in the constituency’s capital, Mankranso, Prof. Twumasi addressed the need for an Astroturf pitch in the area.

He highlighted the fact that the Ghanaian government, led by President Nana Akuffo Addo, has successfully completed over 150 Astroturf projects across the country.

He assured the residents that their constituency would soon benefit from its share of these developments.

Prof. Twumasi emphasized that politics is fundamentally about development. He lamented the fact that many constituents continue to struggle with poverty despite their hard work and meager incomes.
