In a heartwarming gesture, the Adontehene of Kokrobite, Nii Quashie Djabum Okreketeyua, has donated a life support machine to the Kokrobite Health Center in the Ga South Municipality.

This generous contribution has brought immense joy to the staff at the health center.

Nii Quashie Djabum Okreketeyua, speaking to the press after the donation, shared the inspiration behind his decision.

He explained that his motivation stemmed from a prior visit to the health center, during which he encountered a newborn baby in critical condition, struggling to breathe.

Upon inquiring, he learned that the infant required a life support machine to survive, which the health center lacked at the time. This moved him to make the valuable donation to help save lives in the community.

In addition to the life support machine, Nii Quashie has pledged to provide the facility with a standby generator.

This commitment comes in response to the knowledge that the health center faces operational challenges when there is a power outage.

Mrs. Mavis Amoah, the Principal Nursing Officer at the Kokrobite Health Center, expressed her gratitude for the generous donation from Nii Quashie Djabum.

She emphasized that the staff at the health center is deeply touched by his kindness and is committed to using the new equipment to improve healthcare services for the community.
