NPP Presidential Aspirant Kennedy Agyapong warns delegates against vote buying

Presidential aspirant for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has issued a caution to party members, especially the delegates, not to succumb to the allure of money offered by fellow aspirants in exchange for votes.

Speaking passionately to NPP members, particularly the grassroots, Mr. Agyapong emphasized the importance of the upcoming presidential elections.

He urged delegates not to be swayed by financial inducements from aspirants but to make their decisions based on the party’s long-term prospects and the future of the country.

Mr. Agyapong firmly believes that the NPP has the potential to break the “eight-year cycle” and secure another term in office, but he stressed that this would only be possible if delegates vote for him as the party’s flagbearer and leader in the 2024 elections.

Addressing the issue of money in politics, he warned against “greedy politicians” who, he claimed, had neglected the grassroots for years and were now attempting to buy their votes.

Instead, he encouraged the party members to consider the country’s future and make a choice that benefits both them and future generations.
