Hon. John Kwame Duodu, also known as Sir John, the CEO of Royal Ann College of Health and NPP First Vice Chairman for Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency, has emphasized on the pivotal role of education in national development, recognizing that no nation can progress without a strong educational foundation, he urged stakeholders to rally behind the government’s efforts to support education.
Hon. Duodu commended the NPP government for its interventions in education, particularly the historic implementation of free SHS, as he believed it would pave the way for more graduates to contribute to the nation’s development.
During an event at the Nkawie Education Directorate, Hon. John Kwame Duodu presented 4117 mathematical sets to 4115 BECE candidates to enhance their performance in Mathematics, Science, and Technical subjects during the 2023 BECE.
He credited his own success and growth to the grace of God and the opportunities provided through education, hence his dedication to supporting educational initiatives.
Mrs. Juliana Essel Cojoe, Atwima Nwabiagya Municipal Education Director, and several school heads expressed their gratitude to Hon. John Kwame Duodu for the generous support.
They acknowledged that the provision of the mathematical sets would motivate the students to excel and alleviate the burden on parents.
Hon. Amoah Awuku Michael, MCE for Atwima Nwabiagya Municipal, also extended his appreciation to Hon. Duodu for the thoughtful gesture.
He recognized the significance of the support in preparing the students for the BECE and wished him continued success in his endeavors.
