According to Nii Darko, the resident who witnessed the incident, the conflict between the two families in Teshie Maamli can be traced back to long-standing tensions related to chieftaincy issues.
According to him, the families have a history of disputes revolving around the chieftaincy matters, and this recent fight has emerged as a result of these unresolved tensions.
