Residents at Appiatse in the Western region are appealing to fellow Ghanaians for support as they face delays in the reconstruction of the new housing site.
Although the first phase of the 124 housing units is nearing completion, the residents, who are still recovering from the shock of past events, are in need of assistance.
The 124 housing units comprise various types of apartments, including one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, four-bedroom, five-bedroom, six-bedroom, and seven-bedroom apartments.
While progress is being made on the construction, the residents are experiencing difficulties in their daily lives and are seeking help from the public.
Mr. Thywill Quarshie, the Public Relations Officer of the Appiatse Reconstruction Committee, has addressed the situation, highlighting the challenges faced by the affected people.
According to him, life has become increasingly challenging for them, and they are in urgent need of support to cope with the ongoing reconstruction process.
