The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East and Minister for Fisheries and Aquacultural Development, Hon Mavis Hawa Koomson, recently introduced the Obaatanpa Loans program for small to medium scale traders in Kasoa.

During a meeting with the Petty Traders Association, the MP distributed the first installment of 15,000 Ghana Cedis to the initial group of beneficiaries.

According to her, the primary objective of the Obaatanpa Loans initiative is to provide financial support to small to medium scale traders in the Awutu Senya East Constituency, enabling them to expand their businesses and enhance their livelihoods.

At the launch event, Madam Mavis Hawa Koomson reaffirmed her dedication to supporting small businesses and traders in her constituency.

Importantly, she emphasized that the loan offered through Obaatanpa Loans is interest-free, making it more accessible and beneficial for the recipients.
