The Concerned Amasaman Branch Executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have expressed their urgency in calling upon their flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, to organize constituency elections in Amasaman.
They believe that the delay in conducting these elections is adversely affecting campaign activities in the constituency.
Mallam Dauda Quaison, the leader of the group, emphasized the need for robust grassroots mobilization as the 2024 elections draw near.
He highlighted the NDC’s goal of wresting power from the New Patriotic Party and stressed the importance of starting from scratch in order to catch up with their political opponents.
The group believes that conducting constituency elections in a timely manner will contribute to the party’s overall campaign strategy and increase their chances of success in the upcoming elections.
