The Majority Leader in Parliament and Member of Parliament for Suame, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has refuted reports circulating that he made derogatory remarks about 90 percent of NPP polling station executives, describing them as useless.

In a statement issued by Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, he clarified that the reports circulating are false and misleading. He categorically denied making any derogatory comments about NPP delegates or questioning their usefulness.

The reports, initially published by MyNewsGh.com, alleged that the majority leader had criticized the NPP delegates for voting out experienced MPs during parliamentary primaries.

However, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has denied the authenticity of these reports and emphasized that they do not reflect his views or statements.

Agyeman Richard, the Special Aide to Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, vehemently denied the authenticity of the alleged remarks and emphasized that they were intended to tarnish the image of Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu in the political sphere.

He emphasized that Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu is widely recognized as a highly knowledgeable and respected political figure, not only in his constituency but across all regions of Ghana.

Such derogatory remarks, according to Agyeman Richard, would not align with his character and would not serve him well.

Agyeman Richard further stated that Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu is deeply loved and respected by his constituents, highlighting his tireless efforts in working towards the development of his constituency and the nation as a whole.

He urged Ghanaians to disregard the allegations and understand the positive contributions Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu is making to Ghana’s progress.
