Late Police Officer Callistus Amoah posthumously promoted to General Corporal in recognition of sacrifice

During the burial service held at St. George Catholic Church in Tesano, Accra, in honor of the late police officer Callistus Amoah, it was announced that he had been posthumously promoted from General Lance Corporal to General Corporal.

This promotion serves as a recognition of his dedication and sacrifice in the line of duty.

General Corporal Callistus Amoah tragically lost his life while on official duty in a bullion van during the Ablekuma Bullion Van Robbery incident.

He was fatally shot by armed robbers at a fuel station in Ablekuma Fan Milk, Accra.

The announcement of his promotion was met with solemn respect and was a testament to the bravery and commitment he demonstrated in serving and protecting the community.

The Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akufo Dampare, expressed his deep condolences to the family of General Corporal Callistus Amoah.

Dr. Dampare assured the public that every possible effort would be made to apprehend the perpetrators of this heinous crime and bring them to justice.

During the service, Amanda Amoah, the wife of the late Callistus Amoah, paid tribute to her husband, describing him as a generous person.

His loss is deeply felt by his family, colleagues, and the entire nation.
