Both oral and sex are against the laws of the country- Ursula Owusu

The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has made a statement regarding forced sexual acts and the need for women to seek assistance in such situations.

During her speech on the promotion of proper sexual human rights and the Ghanaian family values bill, she specifically mentioned incidents where women are coerced into engaging in oral and anal sex by their husbands.

Owusu-Ekuful emphasized that regardless of the gender involved, anal sex is considered illegal under the law.

She expressed concern over the fact that some wives have faced threats of divorce from their husbands for refusing to participate in these acts.

She also highlighted the significance of the proposed bill in addressing these issues and providing support for victims. She clarified that both oral and anal sex, regardless of the gender combination, are deemed illegal according to the existing laws of the country.

Owusu-Ekuful urged individuals engaging in such acts to be aware that their actions are against the law of the land.
