Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah presents textile clothing to widows in Ejisu Constituency

Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah ESQ., Member of Parliament, has presented rolls of textile clothing to widows in the Ejisu Constituency.

The presentation took place during a dinner gathering organized by the executives of NPP Young Patriot at the party office on Saturday, July 2nd, 2023.

A thousand widows from various electoral areas of the constituency were selected as beneficiaries of this gesture.

The organizers expressed their gratitude to the widows for their long-standing political support to the party and saw this event as an opportunity to encourage them to remain loyal to the NPP.

During his address to the gathering, Chairman Adams Usman of the Young Patriots expressed his astonishment and admiration for the benevolent act of Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah. He described it as an unprecedented and remarkable gesture in the political history of the constituency.

“But for Dr. John Kumah, I wouldn’t have known that Ejisu Constituency will one day have an MP who will be so mindful and sensitive to the welfare of widows and the vulnerable”, he stated.

“This is the 5th time I am witnessing the MP supporting widows and the vulnerable”, he added.

During the gathering, Chairman Adams Usman urged the widows to unite and work diligently for the Member of Parliament and, ultimately, for the victory and retention of the NPP in the 2024 general election.

He emphasized the importance of their support and encouraged them to remain patient as the party is committed to supporting their welfare.

After the presentation, Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah expressed his gratitude to the widows for their continuous prayers and support for both himself and the party.

He conveyed the appreciation of President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Bawumia, acknowledging that their unwavering support has played a significant role in the party’s current position in governance.

Lawyer John Kumah expressed his hope that the beneficiaries and residents of Ejisu constituency would not waver in their loyalty to him and the NPP, but instead, intensify their efforts to ensure the party’s victory in the upcoming 2024 election.

He urged them to remain committed and work towards breaking the eight-year cycle of political power.

Furthermore, some of the beneficiaries took the opportunity to express their gratitude to the legislator for his kind gesture.

They appreciated the support they have received and acknowledged the impact it would have on their lives.
