A suspected thief, known as Kwaku Atta has been lynched in Obour Tumpan, Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region.

According to reports, the individual was allegedly killed by some residents for petty theft.

The Assembly Member for Nyamekrom Electoral Area, Hon. Enock Boahene, who received a distress call about the incident, confirmed the incident on Afeema FM.

Upon arriving at the scene, Hon. Enock Boahene found the lifeless body of the deceased, which had been stripped naked but covered with leaves.

In response to the situation, Hon. Enock Boahene quickly informed the Assembly Member of the electoral area where the incident occurred, in order to involve the police and have the body conveyed from the scene.

As of the time of confirmation, the lifeless body of Kwaku Atta was still at the scene.
