The Central Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Anthony Sackey, has rejected claims that contractors working on the Assin Fosu to Assin Praso road project have abandoned their work after the by-election.

He dismissed these reports as false and accused opposition parties of spreading misinformation to undermine the NPP government’s reputation.

There were social media rumors suggesting that the contractors had left the project following the NPP’s defeat in the by-election.

However, Anthony Sackey clarified that these claims were baseless and aimed at tarnishing the image of the NPP government.

Sackey emphasized that the government remains committed to the development and completion of infrastructure projects, including the Assin Fosu to Assin Praso road, and urged the public not to be swayed by false information.
