Barekese Methodist Junior High School old students renovate their alma-mata

 All-year group of Barekese Methodist Junior High School has successfully renovated a 4-unit classroom block at their alma mater at a cost of GH¢ C33,000.00.

In addition to the renovation, the group also provided the school with furniture and other teaching materials. The funding for these initiatives was generated through contributions from the group’s members.

Nana Oppong Wadie, Spokesperson of the group, emphasized that the renovation project was driven by the commitment of the school’s former students to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in their alma mater.

He expressed gratitude towards the school for shaping who they had become and believed it was their responsibility to show appreciation through the renovation of the classroom block.

Furthermore, Nana Oppong Wadie pledged the group’s readiness to provide further assistance to the school. He promised that they would continue to contribute to the development of their alma mater while working in their respective organizations and institutions.

As the President of the Old Students Association for Barekese Junior High School, Nana Oppong Wadie urged the current students to justify the contributions made by the alumni by working hard to improve their academic performance.

He encouraged teachers to be dedicated and responsible in their roles. Mr. Wadie advised the students to prioritize their studies and remain focused on their educational pursuits. He emphasized that excellent results could only be achieved through diligent studying.

Nana Oppong Wadie assured that he would work with the staff to maintain discipline and improve the quality of teaching in the school.

He urged the teachers to care for and maintain the school buildings, ensuring their preservation for future generations to benefit from.
