Dr. Akoto Owusu Afriyie, a Presidential Aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has made a passionate appeal to the citizens of Ghana, urging them to rally behind and cast their votes for Charles Opoku in the Assin North by-election.
On Wednesday, June 21, 2023, Dr. Akoto Owusu Afriyie, along with prominent party figures including the National Chairman, Stephen Ntim; General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua; National Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye; Deputy Majority Leader, Alexander Afenyo Markin; several Central regional executives of the party; Assin North constituency chairman; Assin North District Chief Executive (DCE); Mayor of Cape Coast; Charles Opoku, the NPP parliamentary candidate for Assin North; and various electoral area coordinators and polling station executives, embarked on a tour of the Assin North constituency.
He urged the constituents of Assin North to unite and cast their votes overwhelmingly in support of Charles Opoku.
Dr. Akoto Owusu Afriyie emphasized that electing Charles Opoku as their representative would provide him with the necessary mandate to advocate for and attract more developmental projects to the Assin North constituency.
Dr. Akoto Owusu Afriyie highlighted that Charles Opoku’s track record of dedication, commitment, and his alignment with the party’s vision and policies make him the ideal candidate to champion the interests and aspirations of the constituents.
He emphasized that voting for Charles Opoku would ensure effective representation and enable him to effectively lobby for resources and development initiatives that would uplift the living standards of the people in Assin North.
