Former Secretary of IMCIM, Charles Bissue, surrenders to Office of Special Prosecutor

According to a press release, Charles Bissue, the former Secretary of the defunct Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM), has reportedly surrendered himself to the Office of the Special Prosecutor.

The press release states that he arrived at the Office on Wednesday, June 21, at approximately 11:45 am. It indicates that Charles Bissue voluntarily presented himself to the authorities.

According to a statement signed by Kissi Agyebeng, it was mentioned that upon his arrival at the Office of the Special Prosecutor, Charles Bissue was immediately arrested and subsequently interviewed.

Following the interview, he has been granted bail. The statement suggests that the legal process was followed, and Charles Bissue was released on bail after the necessary procedures.

Approximately two weeks after the OSP initiated a manhunt for the former presidential staffer, aiming to question him regarding his involvement with the anti-galamsey committee, this development takes place.
