Nana Akua Tima Sika Foundation supports residents at Kumeso

The Nana Akua Tima Sika Foundation, in its commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and promoting education, has recently donated educational materials and food items to widows, orphans, and students in the community of Kumeso, located in the Asante Akyem Central Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

The Nana Akua Tima Sika Foundation’s donation to the community of Kumeso in the Asante Akyem Central Municipality of the Ashanti Region encompassed a range of essential items. These included bags of rice and cooking oil, which would help address the nutritional needs of the widows, orphans, and students.

During the event, the Nana Akua Tima Sika Foundation took the opportunity to issue National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) cards to the elders in the community of Kumeso. The NHIS cards provide access to essential healthcare services and coverage, ensuring that the elders have the necessary support for their medical needs.

In a media interview, Nana Akua Tima Sika, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nana Akua Tima Sika Foundation, expressed that the distribution of education materials, food items, and the issuance of NHIS cards align with the foundation’s mission to provide assistance to those in need.

She mentioned that these initiatives were inspired by a sense of responsibility and a calling from God.

During the program, Nana Kwasi Acheampong, the Chairman, emphasized the importance of institutions offering support to bright but underprivileged students. He acknowledged that while the government plays a crucial role, it cannot single-handedly provide for all the needs of the people.

He highlighted the significance of other institutions, such as the Nana Akua Tima Sika Foundation, stepping in to offer assistance to those in need.

Nana Kwasi Acheampong reiterated that children with potential are the future leaders of the community, however, without access to education, their ability to contribute to the development of their community will be limited.

He emphasized the importance of investing in their education, as it paves the way for their future success and enables them to make meaningful contributions to society.

The beneficiaries of the program expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Nana Akua Tima Sika Foundation for their generous support.

They recognized the significant impact these education materials and food items would have on their education and overall well-being. The beneficiaries understood that this support would alleviate some of their financial burdens and enable them to focus on their studies.
