Following the submission of his nomination forms on Monday, June 19, as a flagbearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Boakye Agyarko addressed the media, emphasizing the need for a clean and respectful campaign.

In his remarks, Mr. Agyarko called upon all fellow aspirants to prioritize issues-based discussions and refrain from engaging in negative tactics or personal attacks. He stressed the importance of maintaining a healthy and constructive political environment throughout the campaign period.

In his address to the media after filing his nomination, the former Energy Minister emphasized the importance of clean campaigns and called on all other aspirants to adhere to this principle.

He proposed that all aspirants should not only engage in clean campaigns but also follow all other rules of engagement to ensure a peaceful flagbearer election within the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“As long as the rules are clear and there is complete fairness, considering this as an internal family matter, I believe we can ensure peaceful elections by exercising measured statements” Boakye Agyarko expressed.
