Hon. Muntari Ibrahim, one of the defeated parliamentary aspirants in the recent NDC primaries for the Cape Coast North Constituency in the Central Region, has issued a cautionary message to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) against attempting to employ legal means, including the Supreme Court, to combat the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
During his interview with the press, Hon. Muntari Ibrahim expressed his concern regarding what he perceives as instances where the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has manipulated the country’s democracy, citing the case of Hon. Gyakye Quaison as an example.
Hon. Muntari Ibrahim expressed his belief that justice was not served in the case of Hon. Gyakye Quaison. He expressed his disappointment with the outcome, suggesting that he perceives it as an instance of injustice.
“The NPP want to intimidate us with the judiciary but it cannot hold water. I entreat the voters at Assin North to reject any propaganda by the NPP and vote for Hon. Gyakye Quayson to continue the good jobs he has started”, he added.
Continuing with his address, Hon. Muntari Ibrahim urged Ghanaians to turn out in large numbers and vote overwhelmingly for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.
He believes that by doing so, the country can be rescued from its current economic challenges and difficulties.
