David Abesabe, the Chairman of the Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS) in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region, is urging parents to pay their children’s school fees early to ensure that the school can effectively meet the educational needs of the students.

He noted that no institution could function well without the needed resources and, therefore, appealed to parents who owed fees to endeavour to pay to facilitate teaching and learning.
Mr. David Abesabe made these remarks during the Annual Week celebration of the Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS) held at Apromase in the Ejisu Municipality.

During the Annual Week celebration of the Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS), Mr. David Abesabe emphasized the commitment of the school to provide quality education that is also affordable for the Ghanaian child. He highlighted the importance of education in the development of children and called on parents to fulfill their responsibility of providing for their children’s needs.
Mr. David Abesabe reiterated that the early payment of school fees plays a significant role in helping students discover and unleash their God-given potentials and by ensuring that fees are paid promptly, parents contribute to creating a stable and supportive learning environment for their children.
Mr. Ntiamoah, the Private Schools Training Officer at Ejisu Education Directorate, highlighted the efforts being made by the Ghana Education Service (GES) to ensure that all eligible students are placed in Senior High Schools (SHS) under the government’s Free Senior High School (FSHS) policy.
According to him, the Free Senior High School policy is aimed at providing access to secondary education for all Ghanaian students, regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds. It seeks to eliminate financial barriers that may hinder students from pursuing their education beyond the basic level.
Mr. Ntiamoah, the Private Schools Training Officer at Ejisu Education Directorate, acknowledges the important role that private schools play in the education and development of children. He recognizes that private schools contribute significantly to the success and character-building of students, ultimately leading to a wholesome and happy life.
