In no time, living on this earth is going to be difficult if we don’t plant trees now- Asutifi North DCE

District Chief Executive (DCE) of Asutifi North District,  Hon. Anthony Adjei Mensah has advised Ghanaians to cultivate the habit of planting trees else, living on this earth is going to be impossible.

According to the DCE, the number of trees which are cut down everyday is more than what we plant everyday and if this habit continue for a long time without replanting, there will be no oxygen for us to breathe in the near future to come.

He made all these statements when all his assembly workers joined hands with him to plant trees to celebrate Green Ghana 2023 today.

Kenyasi Forest Range Manager, Mr. Jacob Gyimfi also advised the Assembly and the general public to take very good care of the trees to prevent them from dying.

According to him, 2200 trees was planted in the Asutifi North District.
