The Paramount Chief of Mankessim Traditional Area, Osagyefo Amanfo Edu has pledged the good people of Mankessim to ensure that unity reign in the area forever.
According to the Paramount Chief, there will be no more chieftaincy Disputes in the Mankessim Traditional Area again for over 104 year Chieftaincy disputes have been settled in the area.
Mankessim Traditional Area has encountered over 104 chieftaincy disputes, which has resulted in poor development in the area.
Osagyefo Amanfo Edu has promised that, he will ensure that there is unity in the Mankessim Traditional Area.
Chiefs and Clans fighting over chieftaincy have now agreed to allow peace and unity to reign and have promised to avoid actions that may trigger another conflict, for the development of the Mankessim Traditional Area.
Speaking to Otech FM during the Celebration of Ahobaa Festival and Launching of Borbor Fante Amanse Festival 2023 edition at Mankessim, the Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Constituency, Hon. Ophilia Mensah Heyford thanked the chiefs and the people of Mankessim for settling any chieftaincy dispute between them.
She said, this will allow development in the Mfantseman Traditional Area.
According to her, she will do her best to lobby projects in the Mfantseman Traditional Area since peace has reigned.
She also advised the youths in the Mfantseman Constituency to settle any disputes that exists between them.
