A 20 year old man has met his untimely death after a vehicle run over him at Jukwa Mbem in the Twifu Hemang Lower Denkyira District of the Central Region.
According to report gathered by Otech FM revealed that the man, popularly known as Akim was on motorbike with his friend 22, named Uncle Kwabena was on motorbike when they clashed with a Sprinter Bus leading to Akim’s instant death and leaving Uncle Kwabena in a critical condition.
This incident is said to have occurred on Monday, June 5, 2023 at dawn, around 5:30 am.
Report says, the Sprinter Bus with registration number, AC 7700-23 was coming from Cape Coast heading towards Twifu Praso with top speed and upon reaching Jukwa Mbem, the driver gave the motor rider a high light, howeve, the rider did not notice the signal and went off his lane, resulting in the clash.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Jukwa Government Hospital Mortuary while the injured person is receiving treatment at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Driver of the sprinter bus is assisting police investigation at the Jukwa Police Station.
