In a surprise move, an aspiring 2024 Parliamentary Candidate in the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Assin Central Constituency of the Central Region, Mr. Eric Kwadwo Baidoo, popularly known as BROTHER, has made a cash donation of GHC50,000.00 for the Nomination fee on behalf of the Hon. Kennedy Agyapong to contest the NPP Presidential race.
The aspiring Parliamentary Candidate who is ticked to succeed Hon. Kennedy Agyapong in the Assin Central maddonatedn. Kennedy Agyapong’s Hometown, Assin Dompim.
Speaking to the media, Mr. Baidoo said that Hon. Kennedy Agyapong deserves to be given the nod to lead the NPP to help the party ‘Break the 8’ and retain power in the 2024 elections.
“I am very happy for my Member of Parliament for making such a bold step to become the next president of Ghana and as someone who is aspiring to succeed him, I feel it is a great idea to support his campaign,” Mr. Baidoo said.
The NPP has opened nominations for party members who seek to lead the party for the 2024 elections to officially enter the race.
So far, five people have already picked their forms at the party’s headquarters.
Mr. Eric Baidoo is a U.S based businebusinessmann indigene of Assin Fosu.
He has vowed to succeed the incumbent Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Honourable Kennedy Agyapong, who is now contesting for the upcoming presidential elections.
