The Chairperson of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), who is also on the bid to be the presidential candidate for the party, Nana Akosua Frimpongmaa Sarpong Kumankumah has admonished the youth to be very active in politics since they are the ones who have to take power in the country.
Speaking after she picked her nomination form at the party headquarters, she pointed out that the youth is the stronghold of the nation.
“There is no magic but the magic is in you and the actions you take,” she said.
She added that the CPP is giving the youth the mantle out to all the youth across the country, who seek to take their destiny into their hands and work for the betterment of their lives and the country as well.
She said the youth are frustrated and that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) bailout will not change any aspect of the economy.
“CPP has 800,000 executive positions opened in the polling stations and electoral areas. Come and join the party and let’s together go ahead and take the power from the very people who have not been able to do anything for you,” she stressed.
Nana Akosua Frimpongmaa Sarpong Kumankumah is, therefore, pleading with the youth to involve themselves in politics and work hard to achieve the main of betterment.
