Organizer of the United Nations (UN) Association of Ghana for the Ahafo Region, Hon. Yahaya Aliscopii has appealed to the government and the UN to run more peace campaigns in Bawku.
According to him, it is so sad that people in Bawku are dying day after day due to the conflict.
He stressed that due to this conflict, traders are not able to move across the border to Burkina Faso to buy cheaper foodstuff.
He is, therefore, appealing to the government to hasten any conflict resolution procedures so daily activities can continue peacefully.
