The Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) has changed its decision for drivers to reduce transport fares.
The GPRTU gave a directive some days ago that all drivers across the country have to reduce the fare by 10 percent, however, drivers refused to comply with this directive.
Drivers made this decision on the basis that this directive given by the GPRTU was unnecessary and that it was never going to work.
The Communications Director of GPRTU, Mr. Abass Imoro says drivers have been asked to take the original fare and that they should ignore the initial directive given.
