President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says Ghana has been able to prevent food shortages over the years.

Speaking at the 7th African Leadership Forum in Accra, he stated that Ghana has been the number food supplier over the years and it is through good initiatives and policies made by the government.

He added that the Planting for Food and Jobs policy has ensured that Ghana has sufficient food in the country and that it has been the number one policy that has ensured the successful management of Agriculture in the country.
