Presidential Aspirant for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Owusu Afriyie Akoto has congratulated Mr. Ernest Yaw Anim for winning the bye-election, which was held in Kumawu yesterday.
Prior to a notice issued, Owusu Afriyie Akoto indicated that it is overwhelming that Mr. Ernest Yaw Anim was able to pull 71 percent of the valid vote cast.
He also commended the people of Kumawu for your conducting themselves well during the bye-elections.
He seized the opportunity to congratulate the patriots who in diverse ways worked to ensure that the NPP and Ernest Yaw Anim secured the emphatic win over our political rivals, the NDC.
He also thanked the Electoral Commission and the security for ensuring a smooth election.
“Ernest Yaw Anim’s resounding victory gives hope that breaking the 8 is possible. Let’s go for it, NPP,” the notice said.
