Robert Ofosu-Apea has appealed to Ghanaians to stop relating health issues to politics.
He made this statement under the grounds where he, together with his friends, organized a free NHIS Registration for the people of Anumle Electoral Area at Kisseman in the Okaikwei North Constituency in Accra.
According to Mr. Robert Ofosu-Aapea, health issues are in no way, related to politics since everyone is prone to sickness.
He stressed that NHIS was initiated to reduce the finances in hospitals and as such, cannot be involved in political issues.
Mr. Robert Ofosu-Apea is, therefore, appealing to all Ghanaians to stop addressing health matters as political matters.
He also used the opportunity to appeal to the government to address issues of health as quickly as possible because health matters are not to be joked with.
He emphasized that government should release funds to support health facilities so that these hospitals can look after people properly.
