The Unemployed Graduates With Disabilities have arranged to storm the Ministry of Gender, Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Employment on the 22nd of May, 2023, to demand immediate employment from the government.

According to the leader of the group, Mr. Prosper Adeku, graduates who completed tertiary in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 in the various tertiary institutions are still unemployed.

He is, therefore, urging the government to come to their aid because they are suffering at home without any employment.

He added that People with Disabilities have been ignored by the government in terms of employment creation in the country.

For this reason, all disability categories are joining hands to stop the canker of unemployment issues for PWDs and urge them to come together as one family to stand for their rights and join the picketing on Monday across the 16 regions.
