Dr. Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings retains seat as the incumbent MP for Korle Klottey Constituency

Dr. Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings, incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Korle Klottey has retained her seat as MP to lead the constituents ahead of the 2024 elections.

She was able to secure 1,194 votes, beating her opponents, Meredith Naa Odarkai Lamptey Addy and Nii John Alfonso Coleman, who obtained 268 and 360 votes respectively, out of 1831 votes cast, accounting for more than 90 percent of the total votes.

Speaking after she was declared winner of the 2023 NDC parliamentary elections, she stated that this win is “humbling but also a reminder not to just get complacent since there is a lot of work ahead.”

She added that “this is a way to ginger them up and keep moving since it is a signal that they are united and ready for 2024.”

Dr. Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings thanked her “campaign team and all delegates who recognized the fact that this was not bout just talk but also about a track record of work and who can deliver.”
