Victoria Tetteh,25, a hairdresser has been murdered by her boyfriend Dominic popularly known as “Obuasi,” in Dunkwa-On-Offin in the Upper Denkyira Municipality of the Central Region after the suspect saw another man’s picture on her mobile phone.

Information gathered by Otech FM revealed that the suspect bought the phone for her and the next day, he saw photos she took with another man on it which brought a misunderstanding between them.

This misunderstanding, however, brought argument and fight between them.

The incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday, May,3,2023.

Because of this, the victim left her room and went to her sister’s house, and stayed with her.

The suspect Obuasi followed his lover to her sister’s house in an adjacent neighborhood at Dunkwa Mfoum while fuming with envy and hatred.

A fight allegedly broke out between the two, so the victim’s sister stepped outside to call for assistance to separate them only to come back and learn that Obuasi had used a building block to murder her sister to death.

As the police launch their investigations to apprehend the suspect, Obuasi is currently on the run.

The deceased’s body has been placed in Dunkwa Government Hospital for preservation.

Speaking in an interview,  the victim’s mother, Mrs.Grace Tetteh expressed her dismay and called for justice from the government and security services.

She said she warned her deceased daughter to stay away from her lover whose behavior was abnormal to her.

She is, therefore, seeking justice for the deceased.

Dunkwa On-Offin police are also investigating the matter.
