The Convention People’s Party, as part of the processes leading to the election of the national executive officers, has opened nominations for prospective aspirants to pick up presidential nomination forms.

According to the National Organizer for the CPP, Yirimambo Moses, the timeliness of the presidential primaries was agreed upon by the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) and the Congress Committee, which was set up to see the organization and monitoring of the various activities of the party.

He added that the nomination forms have been released and as such, picking and filing of the form begins from April 20, 2023, to May 11, 2023, at a cost of GHC 20,000 and GHC 200,000 respectively.

Yirimambo Moses stressed that every aspirant for the flagbearership will have to pay GHC 230,000 for Grassroot Mobilization Development Fund.

This fund, according to Yirimambo Moses will be an initiative to help the grassroots as the CPP is mainly going to focus on building the grassroots of this nation, and giving out this amount as an aspirant will indicate him or her as a fundraiser.

He is, therefore, encouraging all to involve themselves in this activity to move the party forward.
