Both driver and passenger in a Toyota Corolla are in critical condition after they were rushed to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital following a car accident at Gomoa Onyadze on the Kasoa Cape Coast Highway.
The incident happened on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, around 5:00 PM.
The accident involved a Toyota Corolla with the registration number GT1753-Z and an Articulator car with registration CR 2283 C on the Kasoa-Cape Coast Highway in the Central Region.
The Public relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Winneba Branch, ADO1 Ebenezer Fiifi Dadzie in an interview with the media, revealed that the bonnet of the Toyota Corolla Saloon car opened and thus, blocked the other driver’s view of the road.
The driver who was driving at top speed, hit a stationary articulator vehicle leading to the accident.
The case has been reported to the Apam Police Station where some officers came to the scene for further investigation.
ADO1 Ebenezer Fiifi Dadzie also appealed to drivers to do daily routine checkups before driving to save lives and properties.
