Presiding Member of the Ga West Municipality who doubles as the Assemblyman of Media Electoral Area, Issaka Ibrahim has advised all taxpayers to be consistent with their payment of taxes.
According to him, it is rather unfortunate that Ghana is where it is today due to the inconsistency of payment of taxes by the citizens.
He added that the main reason why the systems of developed countries like the United States of America (USA), the United Kingdom (UK), and others are working effectively, is because of the consistency of payment of taxes by their citizens.
Issaka Ibrahim is, therefore, entreating all Ghanaian workers and taxpayers to pay their taxes since he believes without this revenue, development will be retarded.
