Leaders of the Ejisu Central Market Traders Association have commended the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Ejisu Municipality, Hon. Samuel Oduro Frimpong for his commitment to the welfare of traders in the Ejisu market.
The traders in showing their appreciation presented a citation to the MCE in recognition of his continued efforts and dedication to bring total development to traders in the Ejisu Market.
According to the traders, the MCE has made trading activities in the market conducive for them and for people who patronize the market.
According to the Queen mother of the market, Nana Adwoah Pokuaah, the place was initially a site for dumping waste however, the MCE improved the condition of the market by making pavements and clearing all waste in the market, making it a healthier place to trade.
Receiving the citation from Ejisu Central Market Traders Association, Hon Samuel Oduro Frimpong thanked the Association and Assembly members for honouring him for his commitment towards the developmental projects of the Municipality for two (2) years in office as MCE of the Ejisu Municipality.
After receiving the award, Hon Samuel Oduro Frimpong also used the opportunity to present 600 LED street light bulbs to the Assembly members in the Constituency.
The 600 LED street light bulbs, according to him, are to help improve and beef up the security situation in the Constituency.
He stated that the street lights will help improve the general security situation in the electoral areas.
