The mother of the murdered soldier, Afia Kyerah has appealed to the Military High Command to replace her dead son with her younger son, the little brother of the deceased.
The mortal remains of soldier Imoro Sherrif who was allegedly stabbed to death in Taifa a suburb of Ashaiman were laid to rest yesterday.
The late Sherrif Imoro who was a trumpeter in the Ghana Armed Forces Band and was stationed at Sunyani in the Bono Region was allegedly killed by a mob at Ashaiman Taifa last Saturday.
He has been laid to rest at the Burma Camp Cemetery.
The mother of the killed soldier, Afia Kyerah says her son’s death is so painful hence, she is pleading with the authorities to register her younger son to replace Sherrif Imoro in the Ghana Army since her late son was the breadwinner of the family.
She also mentioned that the family is not pleased with the way residents of Ashaiman especially, innocent ones, are being treated as a result of her dead son however, this must be done so that the murderers would be unveiled and made to face the law.
