Founder and Leader of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrews, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom has backed Electoral Commission’s decision to use only the Ghana card to get onto the Voters register.
The EC has laid a new Constitutional Instrument, CI in parliament, which when approved, the Ghana Card will be the only document to be used in getting onto the voters register.
This decision by the Electoral Commission has enraged the minority who have indicated that they will do everything in their power to resist the attempt by the EC.
According to them, it will deprive millions of Ghanaians who are of sound mind to vote.
Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrews, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom has rendered his full support to the EC as he says it is in the best interest of the country.
