The Chief of Nsawam – Adoagyiri and Ankobeahene of Akyem Kotoku Traditional Council, Nana Okoanadwo Afutu Dompre ll has expressed dissatisfaction of actions by Okyenhene Amoatia Ofori Panin over Adoagyiri stool and lands.

According to the Chief, there have been attempts by Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council to conquer and sell lands in Adoagyiri and its environs which from time to time,triggered the chief to take the matter to high authorities and after deliberations,judgements from the courts came in favor of the Adoagyirihene. But still Akyenhene is tarnishing his image and do not smoke peace with him which has resulted violence and disputes in that area.

Furthermore,Okyehene has decided to revised his tactics and with the support from the Presidency and connivance at some sections of the Adoagyirihene family, is seeking to install a rival chief.

Adoagyiri is Ankobeahene of Akyem Kotoku Traditional Area and that is where Kotokumanhene select his Adontenhene and Akyeamehene from.
