Hon Dr. Lawyer Dickson Osei Asibey ( Senior Lecturer at KNUST, a Council Chairman of Wa Technical University and Aspiring for Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency Parliamentary seat of NPP) in the Ashanti region has commended NPP led government by H.E. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo for the historic free shs program saying it has reduced parents burden and increase enrollment as advised students to take advantage of it and avoid complacency to the ladder.
According to him,in the past getting admission to Secondary Education was hectic and stressful as many parents have to commit themselves of loans and selling of properties to get access.
Hon Dr Lawyer Asibey made this known at Barekese during a presentation of modern 120 students mattresses and pillows worth Gh 60,000 cedis ( old 600 million cedis) for the newly SHS 1 students to their various SHS as part of his widows mite and extra 10 chop boxes for some selected students who excelled in the 2022 BECE
