Women organisers in the Ashanti Region led by the Regional women’s organiser,Hon.Gloria Hudzi has picked nomination for former finance minister,Dr. Kwabena Duffour.
According to her, picking of the forms clearly shows that the former governor of the central bank is ready to go face to face with John Dramani Mahama in the flagbearership race
She assured the party of a clean and fair campaign devoid of insult as Dr Duffour is eager to lead and bring NDC back to power and salvage the country from the mess caused by NPP government.
She opined that all the women organisers in the Ashanti Region decided to buy the forms for Mr Duffour because they know he is the right man for Ghana during the hard times.
Dr. Kwabena Duffour after receiving the nomination forms from his supporters he therefore assured them his full commitment to constest the flagbearership race.
He however shared some of his achievements when he became finance minister during the Era of the late president John Fiifi Atta Mills and the impacts it had on Ghanaians. He again reiterating that he will strengthen the grassroot when voted as flagbearer for the 2024 General elections.
